Safeguard have introduced TagCam wireless CCTV systems in response to the significant increase in enquiries from organisations for a portable, wireless CCTV monitoring system.

TagCam features “next generation” 3G wireless technology taking CCTV to a completely new level of cost-effective security. Highly versatile, TagCam has a tough, durable build quality and is suited to a wide range of security applications – any site, campus or area which requires monitoring.

Wireless security systems provide numerous advantages compared to conventional wired alarms and CCTV. The biggest single benefit is that the absence of cabling means that they are quick and easy to install resulting in considerable savings. And because the wireless alarm or camera is not restricted by a fixed cable run they are completely portable – they don’t have to stay in one place and can be deployed exactly where you want them including locations where it would be impractical, too costly or simply impossible to run a cable.

With a traditional wired system, once the cable run has been laid the alarm or camera cannot be moved – criminals become aware of their position and coverage and areas of the building or site that are not monitored are still vulnerable.

The portability of a wireless system means that alarms and cameras can be moved to any location and of course can be reused on new sites delivering significant savings.

In most cases TagCam can also be integrated with our wireless TagAlarm system to further enhance the deterrent and detection effect.
